ROBERT MAYSE'S RITES SCHEDULED

Funeral services for Robert Stanley Mayse, 35, of Glen Daniel will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday in the Melton Mortuary Chapel with Rev. Jim Frazier officiating. Burial will follow in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens cemetery.

Mayse was killed Saturday morning when he was struck by a falling dump truck bed.

Born March 26, 1941, at Hotchkiss, he was a son of Leonard and Beulah Ray Mayse of Murraysville.

A lifelong resident of Raleigh County, Mayse was an employee of Beckley Mining Co. and was a member of the Glenview Independent Baptist Church and the United Mine Workers of America.

Additional survivors include his widow, Brenda Blankenship Mayse; two daughters, Deborah Ann and Christi Lynn, both at home; two brothers, Jack of North Ridgeville, Ohio and Leonard of Mullens; and a sister, Betty (Mrs. Richard) Dixon of Ravenswood.

Friends may call at Melton Mortuary from 5 to 9 p.m. today.

Pallbearers will be Bill, Troy and Roy Blankenship, and Wayne, Roger and Allen Fraley.
