Grady A. Harrison

ARLINGTON - Grady A. Harrison, a retired inspector of aircraft parts, died Saturday at a Grand Prairie hospital. He was 79.

Graveside service will be 11 a.m. Tuesday in Mount Olivet Cemetery in Fort Worth. Arlington Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Harrison was born in Jacobia, Hunt County, and had lived in Arlington since 1966. He grew up in Greenville and had also lived in Fort Worth.

Mr. Harrison worked for Bell Helicopter Textron before his retirement in 1978. He was a member of the Independent Order of Odd Fellows.

His wife, Olive Pat Harrison, died in March 1988.

Survivors: Son, Jimmy Clyde Harrison of Burleson; daughter, Shirley Ann Spurgeon of Arlington; two stepdaughters, Cathy Cononico of Arlington and Peggy Terry of Fort Worth; stepson, Mike Canon of Las Vegas; five grandchildren; several step-grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
