Son of W. Lee Rich.

Twin brother of Kermit Rich.

Erskine served as a Sergeant, U.S. Army during World War II.

He resided in the District Of Columbia prior to the war.

He enlisted in the Army on January 10, 1944 at Fort Myer, Virginia. He was noted as being employed as a Driver and also as Single, without dependents.

Erskine died in the "Line Of Duty" of a non-battle related incident during the war.

He is interred somewhere in North Carolina.
