LYONS POINT - Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 27, at 2 p.m. at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church for Floyd Joseph Thibodeaux, 62, who died at 5:10 a.m. Sunday, May 25, 2003 at Lafayette General Medical Center.
Fr. Donald Pousson will officiate for the Mass of Christian Burial. Visitation will begin at 2 p.m. Monday until 10 p.m. and Tuesday from 8 a.m. until the time of the funeral
Interment will be in the church cemetery.
Survivors include his wife, Margery Simon Thibodeaux of Lyons Point; five daughters, Monica Hilliard and her husband Donald Jr. of Lyons Point, Tracy Meaux and her husband Wesley of Lyons Point, Rikki Jacobson and her husband Tony of Eden Prairie, Mn., Rachael Bieber and her husband Courtney of Mamou and Kimberly Langley and her husband Jeremy of Lyons Point; one son, Brady Thibodeaux and his wife Alisha of Kaplan; 16 grandchildren, Todd and Lindsey Hilliard, Lauren Doucet, Brooke Thibodeaux, Cody Cagnina and Emilee Jacobson, Amber Duplechain, Brady Thibodeaux Jr., Baylei, Alayna and Ashlyn Thibodeaux, Courtlyn Bieber, Corley Thibodeaux, Caylon, Cason and Coldon Langley.
Preceding him in death were his parents, Elea and Viola Hargrave Thibodeaux.
Mr. Thibodeaux was a resident of Lyons Point, a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, and worked for Louisiana Wildlife and Fisheries for the past 11 years.
