Elmer J. Osterloth, 61, Osman tavern owner, died Monday morning at home.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at St. James United Church of Christ, Spring Valley. The Rev. Reinhart Ulrich, interim pastor, will officiate and burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mr. Osterloth was born Nov. 30, 1911, at Milwaukee, son of the late Otto and Augusta Buschre Osterloth. He attended North Division High School, Milwaukee, and was employed at Milwaukee before his marriage. He married Goldie Potter Oct. 10, 1936, at West Bend, farming at Fillmore. In 1941, they moved to Random Lake, where they also engaged in farming. In 1955, they purchased their tavern at Osman. He was also employed as a guard at Tecumseh Products Co., New Holstein, for seven years. He was a member of St. James Church.
Survivors include his wife, three sons and two daughters; two brothers, Lester, of Clintonville and Chester, of Milwaukee; two sisters, Mrs. Louis Thomack and Miss Clara Osterloth, of Milwaukee; and 22 grandchildren. Two
brothers and a sister preceded him in death.
Friends may call at Meiselwitz Funeral Home, Kiel, after 4 o'clock this Tuesday afternoon until 11 a.m. Wednesday and at the church from noon until the time of service.
