Funeral services for Mrs Arno (Elsie) Hansmann 70 of Route 1, Newton who died at her home Monday morning will be held at 1:30 pm Thursday at St James UCC Spring Valley.

The Rev Charles Barnes pastor will officiate.
Burial will be in the St James UCC church cemetery at Spring Valley.
Friends may call at the Meiselwitz Funeral home on Thursday until 11:00 am and then at the church from 12:30 until the time of services.

The former Elsie Fiedler was born Sept 9, 1908 in Cleveland, a daughter of Herman and Minnie Bergemann Fiedler,

She attended district schools.

On May 28, 1932 she married Arno E. Hansmann At St James UCC.

The couple farmed in the Town of Meeme until they retired in 1966.

Mrs Hansmann was a member of St James UCC and the Ladies Aid Society.

Survivors are her husband , a son Roland of Cleveland, a daughter Mrs John (Darlene) Long of Independance, Mississippi eight grandchildren a great- grandchild. Two sisters Mrs Hilda Olm of Kiel and Mrs Hertha Schorer of Howards Grove and a brother Roland of Cleveland.
