PARKER, Charlie Samuel, 69, of Richmond, Va., departed this life Saturday, March 9, 2013. He was preceded in death by his mother, Lucille Matthews.
He leaves to cherish his memory, a loving and devoted wife, Dolena Parker; three daughters, Charlette Johnson (Sean), Katrina Wells and Towanda Wilson (James); two sons, Elbert Wells and Corey Carney (Angela); eight grandchildren; father, Charlie S. Lee (India Lee); seven sisters, five brothers; devoted aunt, Thelma Taylor; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Remains rest at March Funeral Home, 2110 E. Laburnum Ave., where viewing will be held Thursday, March 14, from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., and where family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. Funeral service 11 a.m. Friday, March 15, 2013 in the March Funeral Home Chapel. Interment Forest Lawn Cemetery.
