Mrs. Tiny Angeline Bailey Jones, 86-year-old widowed resident of Route 7, succumbed to an extended illness in DeKalb General Hospital, Smithville, at 3:23 a.m. Tuesday.

A native of this county and member of the Methodist Church, she was a daughter of the late Richard B. and Josephine (Smith) Peden.

She was first wed to Tom Bailey who preceded her in death in 1951 and later to Frank Jones who died in 1963.

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Ruby (Woodrow) Thurman of Route 7; a daughter-in-law, Mrs. Ernest T. Bailey of McMinnville; four stepsons and a step-daughter, Major Jones of this city; Ed L. Jones of Rock Island, J.B. Jones, Chicago; George Jones, McMinnville and Mrs. Haskell Blair of Murfressboro; a sister, Mrs. Rosie Dennis of Smithville; eight grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild.

The body is in state at High's parlors.

Funeral services will be held in High's Chapel at 11 a.m. Thursday. H.B. Smith will be the officiant. Interment will be in Centertown Cemetery.
