Georgia was employed at Westinghouse Manufacturing for more than 30 years. She loved working in her yard and reading her many Danielle Steel novels.
She is survived by her son, Raymond H. Bates of Mansfield; a dear friend, James Richard "Dick" Borden; four nieces, Barbara (Ralph) Gaither of Pensacola, FL, Linda (Lindy) Earl of Lafayette, IN, Carol Sue Lamberton of Pataskala, OH and Brenda Kay (Don) Keller of Mt. Vernon, OH; one nephew, Larry Gearheart of Bellville; seven great-nieces; six great-nephews; six great-great nieces; and six great-great nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Raymond Gearheart; three sisters, Lillian Gee, Pauline Cary and Edith Gearheart; three nephews, Albert Tackett, Ronnie Gearheart and Danny Gearheart; and one niece, Donna Gee.
Private graveside services will be held at a later date in Ross Chapel Cemetery, Olive Hill, Kentucky.
