Age 88 of Beloit died Friday in her home. She was born to the late Henry and Louise (Holtz) Ackeman in Elgin, IL. She married Merle Koebernick on May 29, 1954 in Elgin. Elaine graduated from Stephens College in Concordia, MO. She was a longtime member of St. John's Lutheran Church and also worked as Church secretary. Elaine was a superb homemaker, an avid bowler and enjoyed her Bridge Club. She worked for many years as a bookkeeper before her retirement. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, an infant daughter, Katherine and her brothers and sister.
