On the 1920 census, Arnold Prause was manager of the Fayette County Poor House Hospital Asylum and Anna was matron. The Prause lived there with their three children. By 1930, Anna and Arnold were no longer managing the Poor House and when Arnold died he was listed as "(meat) Butcher).
