Lila Mae Howe Hill, 74, of Blackfoot, formerly of Salmon, passed away peacefully Thursday, March 14, 2013 at the Safe Haven Health Rehab in Pocatello.
Lila was born October 27, 1938 in Cambridge, Nebraska, to Lee Tyson and Nellie Mae Foster. She moved to Blackfoot, Idaho at a young age. She attended school in Cambridge and in Leadore, Idaho.
In 1958 Lila married Stanley Howe. Together they raised four children: Robert, Steve, Joe and Sherry.
Lila was a hard worker, working in the potato warehouses. In her free time she enjoyed fishing, camping, hunting with her oldest son, Robert, in Salmon, and visiting with family and friends.
She is survived by her children: Robert Howe, of Fredrickson, PA, Steve (Glenda) Howe, of Blackfoot, Joe (Leah) Howe, of Pocatello, and Sherry (Gene) Denton, of Blackfoot; 13 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Lila is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Stanley; brothers, Charles Gutzman and Otas Tyson; and one granddaughter, Amy.
Private family services have been held and no further services are planned at this time. Family has been under the care of Hawker Funeral Home in Blackfoot.
