Teresa Diane Griffin, a resident of High Point, passed away Friday, March 15, 2013.
She was born September 12, 1956 in Guilford County, to the Nona Tysinger Wood and Donald Wood. She was employed for 20 years with Trinity Frame and she attended Charity Baptist Church. Teresa enjoyed gardening, crafting, fishing, and she loved the outdoors. She was preceded in death by her father; Donald Wood, her brother; Sidney Wood and her grandparents; Oscar and Nettie Tysinger.
Surviving are her mother; Nona Wood of the home, her sister; Donna Cook and her husband Scott of Denton, her niece; Tiffany Snowdy, her nephew; Bryan McCoin. Also surviving are 3 great nephews; Joseph Oakley, Tyler Law, and Dakota Snowdy.
A service to celebrate Teresa's life will be held Monday, March 18, 2013 at 11:00 AM in Guilford Memorial Park with Pastor Fred Rife officiating. The family will receive friends Sunday from 6 until 8 PM at Cumby Family Funeral Service in High Point.
