Bryan's life was honored in 1968 when he was appointed to the Lamar University Board of Regents by Governor John Connally. In 1981 the Board acknowledged Bryan's hard work, dedication and support of athletics by naming the Lamar University baseball stadium after him and Al Vincent. The field is now known as Vincent-Beck Baseball Field.
