Last rites were held at El Paso for Mrs. Milt Nix, former resident of Wheeler, who passed away in an El Paso hospital on January 5, after an illness of six weeks. Interment was made in Rest Lawn Cemetery there.

Mrs. Nix made her home in Wheeler for several years and is a sister of Mrs. Earl Miller, Mrs. J.A. Callan and Mary E. Gibbons of Wheeler, Mrs. Cora Bentley of Canadian, Mrs. Bertha Bryant, Mrs. Annie Oehoming and Mrs. Laura O'Connor, all of California and John McCuistion of Canyon.

Mrs. Nix and her husband have resided in El Paso for the past few years. She had been in ill health recently and had been in the hospital for the past six weeks. Mrs. Miller of Wheeler, Mrs. Bentley of Canadian and John McCuistion of Canyon attend the funeral.
