Donna Jean Parrish, 80, of Parkersburg, died March 14, 2013, at Marietta Care and Rehabilitation Center.

She was born Feb. 28, 1933, in Wood County to the late Frank and Grace (Bowen) Way.

Donna attended Williamstown United Methodist Church.

She is survived by two sons, Kenneth (Waunita) Parrish of Parkersburg and Donald Parrish (Pam) of Vienna; two daughters, Carolyn Cox of Amesville, Ohio, and Karen Parrish (Dennis Heldreth) of Parkersburg; seven grandchildren, Stephanie, Rodney, Ken, Kendra, Bridget, Carrie and Brenton; and 12 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Roscoe Parrish; and two sisters, Lillian Modesitt and Vivian Webb.

The funeral service will be 1 p.m. Monday at Leavitt Funeral Home, Parkersburg, with Pastor Steve Gedon officiating. Burial will follow the service at Parkersburg Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Sunday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the Marietta Psychiatric Ward, Marietta Care and Rehab, and Amedisys Hospice.
