Clara Margaret Kline Stewart, 88, of Lexington, MO passed away Tuesday, February 4, 2014 at Meyer Care Center in Higginsville, MO. Clara Margaret Kline was born September 13, 1925 in Cosby, MO, the daughter of Frederick B. and Bessie May Kline. She married Charles Robert Stewart on June 4, 1950 in Lexington, MO. Margaret graduated from the University Of Missouri (MU) and was a Physical Education teacher in the Lexington R-V School District from 1948 to 1964. She was the bookkeeper for Stewart Moving Company, owned by her husband. Margaret was a member of the Lexington United Methodist Church, the United Methodist Women's group, and the Lafayette-Lexington Chapter 6044 of the DAR. Margaret is survived by her son and his wife, Robert (Bob) and Kathryn Stewart, of Blue Springs, MO., a brother, Richard Kline and wife, Thelma, and a sister, Mary Kieser and husband, Ralph, both of St. Joseph, MO. There are three grandchildren, Kelly Nichols and husband Jason, Claire, and Margaret and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents and a brother, Frederick Kline. Memorial services will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, February 25, 2014 at the Lexington United Methodist Church. Inurnment in Machpelah Cemetery, Lexington. Memorials may be made to the MU Athletic Department or to Crossroads Hospice of Kansas City. "For believers, there are no questions.
