Walter Kembro, age 101, of Titusville, Florida, passed away on June 15, 1984. He was born on April 18, 1883, to John Richard Kimbro and Mary Ellen Bell. He is preceded in death by his loving wife, Maggie Carlee Braxton, whom he married on August 1, 1905 in Geneva County, Alabama. A son, Eubert Richard Kimbro Sr. also preceded him in death in 1963. Walter and Maggie also lost five sons in their infancy. He was also preceded in death by one grandchild, Donald Lamar Lee, who died in Vietnam in 1966. He is survived by three sons; Herbert (Mary Lois) Kimbro, Dick Kimbro, and Walter Erskine (Ann) Kimbro and three daughters; Merle Reddish of Dothan, Alabama, Mildred (Eddie) Smith of Titusville, FL and Maggie Hobbs. Twenty-four grandchildren and many great grandchildren.
Walter was laid to rest next to his wife, Maggie, in Glen Haven Memorial Park, Winter Park, Florida on June 18, 1984.
Walter Kembro spelled his last name with an "E", there are many documents with his signature to prove this spelling. Uncle William H. Kembro and family used this spelling also.
