Jason R. Madden, 31, of Liverpool, passed away March 12, 2013. He was the son of David and Cynthia M. Lathrop.
He enjoyed bringing his children to the Greater Zion Baptist Church of Harrisburg and spending time with them. Jason loved computers and was a graduate of ITT Tech in 2003 with an Associate Degree in Computers/Electronic Engineering Technology and an employee of the Computer Shop. He loved watching and playing basketball; his favorite teams were the 76ers and the Lakers. He was a huge Michael Jordan fan. He had a sense of humor that could make anyone smile. His favorite dog, Flip, will miss him dearly.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his children, Destini, 15, Beyoncca, 7, and Julius, 5 and Jason, Jr., 6; and his sister, Jamie Coffman of Harrisburg.
He is preceded in death by his sister, Kira T. Madden.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 16, 2013, 3:00pm, at Zimmerman-Auer Funeral Home, Inc. 4100 Jonestown Road, Harrisburg, PA 17109. Visitation will be from 2pm-3pm at the funeral home. Inurnment will be at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens, privately at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Lathrop Family, care of Zimmerman-Auer Funeral Home, Inc. at the above address to help with the cost of the cost of the services.
