Visitation for Debra Anita Burns, 37, of Pembroke Township, will begin at 5 p.m. today at the Ervin Funeral Home, 1151 E. Court St., Kankakee. Visitation will also be held from 10 a.m. Friday at the Christian Hope Baptist Church in Hopkins Park, until the 11 a.m. funeral service. Interment will be in Momence Cemetery. She died Sept. 2, 2011, at Riverside Medical Center, Kankakee.
Ms. Burns was employed at Momence Meadows Nursing Center and Olivet Nazarene University.
Surviving are her children, Robert Barnes, T'Keya Link, Tazia Burns and Curtis Butler III; her parents, Stephanie McCrary and Anthony Burns; sister and brother-in-law, Antoinette and Quantus Evans; twin brother, Anthony Burns; grandmothers, Bertha Henderson and Ethel Outlaw; one aunt; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and numerous friends.
