Funeral services for Mrs. Margaret Dankert, 66, of Twin Lakes, Wis., a native of Homer, were held March 7 in Homer with rev. Harry Deffley officiating. Burial was in G A R Cemetery at Homer.
Mrs. Dankert died March 4 in a Kenosha, Wis., hospital, where she had been a patient 1 month.
Born Feb. 12, 1912, in Homer, she was a daughter of Arthur and Iva Coddington. She married Early Dankert 28 years ago in Elmwood Park. Mr. Dankert survives, but is very seriously ill in a Kenosha hospital.
Other survivors include 4 sisters, Mrs. Gerald (Lois) Jones of Homer, Mrs. Ernest (Dorothy) Davis of New Orleans, La., Mrs. Cecil (Ruth) Beard of Ogden, and Mrs. Robert (Helen June) Baker of Champaign.
She was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Robert and Carl.
Mrs. Dankert was a member of Homer United Methodist Church. She moved from the Homer area about 30 years ago. She retired in February, 1977, after working in an electronics component factory.
