She was employed by Stop and Shop as a Customer Service Representative.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her sister, Linda Richard and her husband Thomas of Barkhamsted; a brother-in-law Michael McDonald and his wife Susan of Avon; a step father-in-law, Charles Pierce of Farmington; four nephews, Jonathan and Christopher Richard, Joseph and Timothy McDonald, as well as one niece, Elizabeth McDonald; and a beloved friend, Debbie Gay. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Edmund 'Butch' Lekowski, her mother-in-law Pauline Pierce and father-in-law, Armand McDonald.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, March 19, at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph`s Church, 31 Oak St., Winsted. Relatives and friends are asked to meet directly at the Church. Burial will follow in St. Francis New Cemetery, Torrington. Calling hours will be held on Monday, March 18, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Cook Funeral Home, 82 Litchfield St., Torrington.
