Mr. Alexander Johnston "Sandy" Cassatt Jr., 67, of Farmer Road, died Saturday, Aug. 26, 2000, at Aiken Regional Medical Centers. A memorial service will be at 3 p.m. Thursday at Rivers Funeral Home with the Rev. M. Eugene Mullikin officiating. Burial will be in Church of the Redeemer Cemetery, Philadelphia. Mr. Cassatt, a native of Philadelphia, was a Marine Corps veteran of First Philadelphia City Troop and a thoroughbred horse trainer. He was former master of Aiken Hounds. Survivors include three sons, Alexander J. Cassatt IV, Louisville, Ky., and Anthony D. Cassatt II and Jacques G. Cassatt, both of New Orleans; a brother, Robert K. Cassatt, Brookville, Maine; a sister, Cassandra Carey, Aiken; and two grandchildren.
