Donna Teresa Underwood, resident of Ponca City, passed away Tuesday, March 12, 2013, at Ponca City Nursing Home. She was 82.
The service will be held at Central Baptist Church on Friday, March 15, 2013 at 10:30 a.m., with Pastor John Waterloo, and Kenneth Biddinger, officiating. Burial will then follow 2:00p.m. at Memorial Park in Enid, OK. Arrangements are under the direction of Trout Funeral Home & Crematory of Ponca City.
Teresa was born on November 8, 1930 to Harry and Delca (Dunlap) Sweetwood in Carrier, OK. She was married to Joseph Underwood on August 22, 1948 in Enid, OK. She worked as Home Maker.
She had a card group and was very active in the 55 and older club.
She is survived by her daughter –in-law Glenda Holland of Ponca City, four grandchildren; Shannon Underwood of Austin, TX, Shaina Underwood of Oklahoma City, Kevin Jefferies and Robert Jefferies both of Ponca City, and three great grandchildren; Kelly Avey, Kaden Jeffries, and Hayli Jefferies all of Ponca City .
Teresa was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and two sons Mike and Jeff.
