Obituary
Benjamin Franklin Brazelton, son of A. W. and Sarah Brazelton, was born at Mirabile, Mo., Caldwell county, March 8, 1858, where he lived until he was fifty years of age. On December 28, 1890, he was married to Cora Grant of Horton, Kas., and in 1908 he moved to Chilhower, Mo., where he resided until 1915 when he removed to this city. Since his residence in this city he has been in the constant employ of the Union Pacific. Two days following an operation, on August 13 [sic], he was called away.

He leaves to mourn his death his faithful wife, two sons and two daughters, Dean J., of this city, Roscoe G., of Green River, Wyo., Ruby Smith of Chilhower, Mo., and Opal, of this city, all of whom were at his bedside at the time of his death. Four grandchildren also survive him. He was the eldest of a family of eleven children and united with the Methodist Episcopal church at Mirabile, Mo., at the age of twenty, since which time he has lived a devoted Christian life.

Funeral services will be held from the Congregational church at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Rev. Christianson officiating. Burial will be made in the Grand Island cemetery. . .
