Death of Mrs. Lucy Foster Stetson.
Mrs. Lucy Foster, widow of Rev. William H. Stetson, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. William Cristy Davis, Palmer avenue, on Saturday, August 25, aged 88 years, 9 months, 15 days. She had been failing ih health for several months.
Mrs. Stetson was born in Woods Hole, the daughter of Ansel and Harriet Palmer Nye. She leaves three daughters—Mrs. William C. Davis and Miss Susie Stetson of Falmouth and Mrs. William A. Austin of Providence. Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon from her late home. Interment was in Oak Grove Cemetery.
