He married Marilyn (Bening) May 23, 1953 in McLeod co. Minnesota. She was born apr. 5, 1934 in Dryden twp., Sibley Co. Minn.. He died in Watertown, Carver Co., Minn.. He was a U.S. Army Veteran & served in Korea in war time. He was a Minnesota State Trooper. Children are Michael Swanson, Bruce Swanson, Cynthia Swanson, Kevin Swanson, Michelle Swanson. I am his nephew Martin Wm. Johnson of Belvidere, Illinois.
