Vera Viola (Boop) was born January 26, 1904 in Pearl City, Illinois and was the daughter of Frank and Clara (Auman) Boop. She married William J. Bauman and they had one son: Merle D. Bauman. They farmed in the Hanover area. Vera was living in Freeport when she died on June 17, 1980. She is buried in Evergreen Cemetery.
