Mrs. Catharine M Crump, 84, daughter of James A and Pamela Boyd White, was born in McDonough County, Jan. 22, 1865, passed away last Thursday, Nov. 17, 1949 in Phelps Hospital in Macomb.
She was the last of seven children in her family. She had resided since the age of 9 years, in Hancock County, St. Marys Prairie on the farm her parents purchased when they moved to this area.
She was married to George Crump of Plymouth, who passed away in 1945. Two daughters were born to this union, one of whom, Rachel, survives.
Rev. Earl D Kelly officiated in the final rites held at The Elms (Funeral Home) in Carthage Sunday afternoon, with burial in Moss Ridge Cemetery
