Mrs. Hattie Mae Slape, 83, 2920 Morehead Ave, passed away Wednesday. She had been a resident of El Paso 35 years, and was a member of the North Loop Baptist church. she was the widow of the late Greenfield Slape. Survivors, sons, Don A. Slape, Olney, Ill, O. M. Slape, F. Hays Slape, both of El Paso, W. Miles Slape, Concord, Cal., Harold G. Slape, Odessa, Texas, L. C. Slape, Amarillo, Texas, Glenn Slape, El Paso, Texas. Daughters, Mrs. Louie Baird, El Paso, Mrs. Thyra Kyle, Del Rio, Texas, Mrs. Billy G. Jones, Memphis, Tenn. 90 grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Friday, in the Harding-Orr & McDaniel Montana ave, Rev. A. J. Kennemen, Jr., officiating. Interment will be in Restlawn cemetery.
