She married Adolph B. Shropshire, son of Joseph and Susan Shropshire, before October 1913. He was an Choctaw Indian from Oklahoma, reputed to be a charismatic flim/flam man who got into trouble with other women and such. In 1918 he was an insurance salesman in Stigler, Haskell County, Oklahoma. In 1920 they lived on North Third Street in Stigler. The marriage ended in divorce sometime after 1920. They had no children and she never remarried. Annie opened an abstract office in Stigler, Haskell County, Oklahoma and did quite well. Later in life she moved to Stillwater, Oklahoma to live with her sisters Lillian and Alice. There she died after on 16 January 1975 and is buried in Fairlawn Cemetery, Stillwater, Payne County, Oklahoma. Adolph died on 23 November 1955 in Santa Barbara, California.
