He was born January 16, 1936, in Judsonia, AR., to the late John and Lydia Wilson Leonard.
He was a retired welder with the Local Union 798 and a 34 year member of the Elks Lodge. He loved fishing, hunting and traveling, but his grand-children were his pride and joy.
Survivors include his wife of 23 years, Cindy Leonard; daughters, Sonya Leonard Stilwell and Tammy Leonard Love; step-sons, Scott (Heather) Shaver, Bradley Shaver and Joe (Linda) Shaver; 11 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren and a brother, Gilbert Lee Leonard.
He is preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Elizabeth Joann Pearrow and a son, Timothy Dale Leonard.
Graveside services were in Evergreen Cemetery in Judsonia. Arrangements were entrusted to Powell Funeral Home Bald Knob-Judsonia.
