Dolores "Dolly" Reiner, 87 of 201 West Mulberry St., Shamokin and formerly of Mt. Carmel passed away on Monday February 18, 2019 at the Mt. Carmel Senior Living Community.

Born in Mt. Carmel on March 13, 1931 she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Esther (Yuskoski) Boslego.

Dolores attended Mt. Carmel Schools.

Dolores was employed at Kirsch Manufacturing in Paxinos until her retirement. She was also formerly employed as a Mt. Carmel Borough Tax Assessor. Following her retirement she was employed as a bartender at the American Legion Post 91 in Mt. Carmel for five years.

She was a member of the former Holy Cross Church and currently a member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Parish. She was also a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Auxiliary in Mt. Carmel and the Kulpmont American Legion Auxiliary. Dolores was a former member of the Loyal Order of Moose in Mt. Carmel where she served as Regent for two terms and a former member of the Lithuanian Club in Mt. Carmel where she served as president for two terms.

Dolly enjoyed cooking and sharing her meals with the other residents and staff at Lincoln Towers in Shamokin where she made her home for the past eleven years. She enjoyed living at Lincoln Towers and was especially grateful and appreciative of all the help and support she received from the office and maintenance staff.

Surviving are one daughter, Diane Lukoskie of Coal Township; three sons, Robert Reiner, Jr. and his wife Terri of Willow Street, PA, Joseph Reiner and his wife Kim of Gettysburg, PA and Steve Reiner and his wife Tressa of Kulpmont; nine grandchildren, Nicholas Reiner, Jessica (Reiner) Lim, Andrea Reiner, Joel Reiner, Stephen Reiner, Olivia Reiner, Josette (Lukoskie) Pacharis, Janessa Lukoskie and Kris Lukoskie; and eight great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one sister, Evelyn Boslego and four brothers, Vincent, Joseph, Norbert and infant brother Ralph Boslego

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Thursday, February 21, 2018 at 11:00 am in Our Lady of Mt Carmel Church, Mt. Carmel. The Rev. Francis J. Karwacki, Pastor will be the celebrant. Interment will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Mt. Carmel Township. A viewing will be held on Thursday morning from 9:00 to 10:45 am at the Joseph J. Stutz, Inc. Funeral Home, 40 South Market Street, Mt. Carmel, Joseph J. Stutz, III Supervisor. In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy can be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 22478, Oklahoma City, OK 73123 or the Colorectal Cancer Alliance, 1025 Vermont Avenue NW Suite 1066, Washington, DC 20005.
