Waverly,- Harvey Fleetwood, 58, vice president of the Bank of Waverly, Inc., and president of the Bank of Waverly when that institution went out of existence in 1933, died of a heart attack at his home Wednesday.
Funeral services will be held Friday at the Waverly Episcopal Church. Burial will be in Waverly Cemetery.
Mr. Fleetwood was a native and lifelong resident of Waverly. He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Purnell Fleetwood. He was educated at Randolph-Macon College.
After leaving college, he entered the banking business with his father, who was the organizer and president of the Bank of Waverly until his death in 1928. Harvey Fleetwood succeeded his father as president of that bank.
Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Lottie Arnold Fleetwood; a son, Harvey Fleetwood, Jr., of Baltimore; a daughter, Mrs. Frank Butler, Jr., of Suffolk; a sister, Mrs. Blanche F. Baird, of Waverly, and a brother, H.O. Fleetwood, of Corning, N.Y.
