REED, Carole S., 69, of Riverview, passed away peacefully on March 12, 2013. She was born in Warner Robins, GA on Oct. 6, 1943. Carole spent her early years on a farm in Carrollton, GA and later moved to Tampa. She graduated from Plant High School class of 1960 and was a very enthusiastic member of her reunion committee. Carole was a founding member of the Carrollwood Garden Club, an employee of Hanger One, and later the law firm of Dykema-Gossett in Tampa. Preceded in death by her siblings Joe Smith, Jr. and Jane Leslie and her mother Ellen Sapp. She is survived by her loving husband John of 23 years, children, Nicole Woodard, Richard Glazier, III (Joanna) and Shelley Grable (Jerome). Grandchildren Reed, Annie, Angelina and Reese. Siblings, Myra Kremin, Marion "Jack" Smith and Betty Morgan. The family would like to thank each of the loving Hospice nurses who never left Carole's side and also all of those who took such special care of her at Hawthorne Rehab, especially Ernesto and Hui. God bless you. The family will receive friends from 6-8:00 pm on Mon. Mar. 18th at Blount & Curry Funeral Home, 605 S. MacDill Ave. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am on Tues. Mar. 19th at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Myrtle Hill Memorial Park.
