Elizabeth was the daughter of William Turner (He served in the Revolutionary War as a private) and his wife Jane Hunter. They resided in Franklin County Va.
Elizabeth married Alexander Ingram (b. 9 Dec. 1778 d. 06 March 1849). They were married 29 Dec. 1803 in Patrick County, Virginia. Elizabeth lived on 24 years after Alexander died in 1849. She died in 1873 at the age of 90.
Alexander Ingram's will was dated 1 March 1849, and proved in Franklin County, Va. on 2 April 1849. In his will he mentions the names of nine slaves, and which ones are to be given to each of his seven surviving children and his wife Elizabeth.
