Adeline Ida (Dupes) Christensen, 96, died Monday, March 11, 2013 in Lincoln, KS. She was born October 19, 1916, southeast of Tescott, KS, to Henry D. and Tessa M. (Reinking) Dupes. She was a lifelong member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Tescott, KS, and was baptized November 19, 1916.

Adeline graduated 8th grade from Franklin School, south of Tescott and graduated from Tescott High School in May, 1934. She was employed as a bookkeeper at the Bank of Tescott in Tescott, KS, for almost 36 years. She married Robert Christensen, Jr. June 4, 1950. He died in March, 1977.

She was preceded in death by: her parents; brothers, Grover, Robert and Ralph Dupes; sister, Adele Cline.

She is survived by a host of nieces and nephews, great and great-great nieces and nephews, and cousins.

Visitation - 1:00-7:00 P.M. Friday, March 15, 2013, at Hall Chapel.

Graveside funeral service - 10:30 A.M. Saturday, March 16, 2013, at Beverly Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Tescott, KS.

Adeline was in the care of Hall Funeral Home, Lincoln, KS.
