Mr. Richardson was born in Charleston, son of Mr. Leonard Richardson and Evangelist Lula Bell Brown Richardson. He grew up in the Sandridge community and was a graduate of Cross High School. He attended Johnson and Wales University, where he received an associate degree in culinary arts. He was employed by Staff Mark Agency and Chipton Ross. He was a member of Poplar Hill Christian Church (DOC).
His survivors include his wife, Mrs. Nidia Gonzalez-Richardson of the home; four children, Antonio Moore, Logan O'Brien Richardson, Carlos Richardson and Keith Omari Richardson, all of the home; his parents of Ridgeville; a sister, Ms. Lekandra Richardson of New Bern, N.C.; two brothers, Staff Sgt. Eric (Chafrena) Richardson of North Charleston and Nathaniel Richardson of Ridgeville; his paternal grandmother, Mrs. Ida Nelson of Cross; his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Herman (Maricela) Campbell Sr. of James Island; aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends.
