Gordon O. Beirne died at his home in Huntington last Thursday, the 14th. His remains were brought here for interment, and after an appropriate funeral service at the home of his brother, H. H. Beirne, conducted by Rev. C. S. Stanton, were dommitted to earth in our town cemetery Friday afternoon. He was 47 years of age and had practiced law in Huntington for 18 years. Gordon was a son of the late Andrew Beirne, or this place, and leaves to survive him, his mother and three brothers -- Patrick Beirne, of Colorado, and Bedford C. and Harry H. Beirne, of Lewisburg.
