Mrs. Ellen Ostrander, daughter of Hubbard Nelson, pioneer of the Orland section, died at the Martinez Hospital Tuesday evening.
Resident of Hamilton City for many years, Mrs. Ostrander moved with her husband to Pittsburg two months ago where Mr. Ostrander was engaged in defense work.
Mrs. Ostrander is survived by her husband and three daughters, Ethel, Lavalla and Laura Jean, all of Pittsburg, her father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. Hubbard Nelson, two sisters, Mrs. Pauline Thew of Hamilton City and Mrs. William Knecht of Capay, and one brother, Floyd Nelson of Hamilton City.
Funeral services will be held at two o'clock Friday at the Sweet chapel, burial in the Odd Fellows Cemetery.
