1943 - 2013
Norma Jeane Rosenkrantz, 69, of Ashland, KY., passed away Tuesday evening, March 12, 2013, at the Hospice Care Center with all four of her children at her side.
She was born on July 26, 1943, daughter of the late Charles Elmer Adkins and Elsie Lucille Martin Adkins Waugh.
She was formerly the owner of Stone's Grill and Benny's Depot in Ironton, OH., and was a loving and devoted mother and homemaker. She was amazingly artistic with a natural God given ability and vision. She will always be remembered for her generosity and compassion towards her family, friends and strangers alike.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Benjamin "Benny" Rosenkrantz, and a brother James Adkins.
She is survived by a son, Todd R. Bradley and wife, Carolyn of Fayetteville, OH., daughters, Kymberly Jean Edwards and husband, Les Waller of Sausalito, CA., Lisa Crase and husband, Ben of Ashland, KY., and Jonda Deeds and her friend, John McCabe of Ironton, OH., brothers, Charles Adkins, Kenneth Adkins and wife, Diane and Douglas Adkins and wife, Laura all of Ashland, KY., a sister, Jerri Daugherty of Ashland, KY., a sister-in-law, Rae Jean Adkins of Ashland, KY., grandchildren, Michael Gannon, Jessica Edwards, Alex Deeds, Logan Kline, Indi Wilks, Zachary Miller and Miranda Miller; great grandchildren, Gatlin Wilks, Mason Wilks, Sawyer Miller, Kennedy Miller, Andrew Gannon and Allison Gannon, and a host of loving nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.
A celebration of her life at Steen Funeral Home-Central Avenue Chapel, with Pastor Rob Jordan officiating. Burial in Golden Oaks Memorial Gardens.
