He was born Sept. 8, 1962, in Butler, the son of the late John Donaldson and the late Shirley Hildebrand Donaldson.
Greg had worked for Furniture Galleries and Decorative Lighting in Butler.
He was an avid card player.
Surviving are his wife, Cindy L. Smink Donaldson, whom he married June 3, 1989; two daughters, Amanda Donaldson of Fenelton and Ashley Donaldson at home; a granddaughter, Mikayla Donaldson; two sisters, Debbie Lumley and her husband, David, of East Butler and Lisa Hadley and her husband, Kenneth, of Illinois; a brother, Doug Donaldson and his wife, Malissa, of Illinois; and a number of nieces and nephews.
DONALDSON - Friends of Greg Donaldson, who died Tuesday, Dec. 30, 2008, will be received from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at the STEIGHNER FUNERAL HOME, 111 E. Slippery Rock and Main streets, Chicora. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home with the Rev. Mark Wallace, pastor of Christian and Missionary Alliance Church of Chicora, officiating. Burial will be in the North Butler Cemetery.
