Shidler Resident Dies in Fairfax

SHIDLER -- Tom Christian, 87, a retired farmer, died Tuesday in Fairfax Memorial Hospital following an illness of a month.

Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Thursday in the Shidler First Baptist Church with the Rev. Harold Riney, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in the Fairfax Cemetery under direction of Shidler Funeral Home.

Christian was born in Kansas Aug. 27, 1882, and had been a longtime resident of Shidler and vicinity.

Surviving him is his sister Mrs. Della Badger of Enid.
