Jon attended John T. Hoggard High School and Cape Fear Community College. He enjoyed the beach, surfing, and playing guitar. Jon preceded in death by his father, John M. Moore, Jr.; and his grandparents, John M. Moore, Sr.; and Paul E. Spry. Surviving is his daughter, Kiya Rayne Moore; his mother, Judith Spry Evans and step-father Eddie Evans; a brother, Mitchell; grandmothers, Mary Edith Spry, and Clara Moore and many extended family members and friends. Jon was a loving father, son, and brother and will be missed by those who knew and loved him.
