Edna's Memoirs;
"It seems strange that none of Walter's sons nor his daughter followed in his Quaker footsteps nor did my mother [actually one son William was a Quaker--BCJ]. The sons became Methodists of varying degrees of devoutness. Son Walter (Livingston) used to preach around the country and his daughter Amelia was among the first group of Canadian missionaries to go to China."
