"MAY
KATHRYN ELIZABETH MAY, "BETTY", age 93, formerly of Maple Glen PA and Avalon NJ. Born in Philadelphia PA, she was the daughter of the late Edward J. and Mary (nee Bernert) Mullen. Mrs. May was preceded in death by her husband, Edward M. May, Jr., in 2008. Mrs. May brightened the day of many Upper Dublin High School students where she worked for nearly 20 years. She was a member of the Naval Officers Wives Club at Willow Grove, St. Alphonsus Church, Maple Glen PA and Maris Stella Parish, Avalon NJ, where she served as a lector. She is the devoted mother of Milissa M. Tadeo (Thomas M.) of Bala Cynwyd, Edward M. May, III (Debra Ashley) of Waldorf MD, Bernardine Vanderslice of Philadelphia PA, John F. "Jack" May (Lisa Martosella) of Malvern, and Joseph G. May (Debra Levi) of Berwyn. Mrs. May is the loving grandmother of Jacqueline, Lauren, Michael, Edward IV, Ashley, Jenna, Christina, Joseph Jr and Kristen and great grandmother of Joseph and James. Relatives and friends may call from 10 to 11 A.M., Friday, March 15, 2013, St. Alphonsus Church, 1565 Temple Drive, Maple Glen PA, with a Funeral Mass to follow at 11 A.M.
