Suzanne worked as a Business Manager in medical records with Dr. Gerald Andrews and Dr. Goebel and also modeled with L.S. Ayres. She was a member of the First Christian Church of Fort Wayne. Suzanne faithfully answered God's call for service through her gift of hospitality. This gift shaped her family's values while demonstrating her love for God and others. While Suzanne never met a stranger, she consistently experienced tremendous delight making new friends. Often time friendships were forged as she joined others in service, engaged in church leadership, or was on her persistent search for bargains.
Surviving are her son, Edwin (Sandy) Allen Jr. of Streetsboro, OH; son, Douglas Allen of Kansas City, KS; daughter, Debra (Ron) Connerly of Cedar Rapids, IA; and 5 grandchildren .
Suzanne was preceded in death by her husband Edwin R. Allen Sr; son, Gregory Allen; parents, Hershel and Pearl Conner and 2 brothers.
Service is 11 am, Saturday, March 16, 2013 at First Christian Church, 4800 S Calhoun St with calling 1hr prior. Calling also at D.O. McComb and Sons Foster Park Funeral Home, 6301 Fairfield Ave Friday, Friday, March 15, 2013 6-9pm.
Burial in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
