He is survived by his wife Donna Ellis; two sons, Shelton Ellis and Richard Ellis; sister Debra Ellis; two brothers, Ronald Ellis (Terri) of Charleston, SC and David Ellis (Susan) of Virginia Beach; three grandchildren, Nathan, Harlie and Haelie and one on the way; six nephews and two nieces.
