Early Thomas Donovan Jr., 50, of Palmyra, Virginia, died on Sunday, March 10, 2013. He was preceded in death by his father Early Thomas Donovan Sr. He is survived by his mother, Shelvie T. Donovan of Palmyra; wife, Laura Anne Donovan of Palmyra; three daughters, Jennifer Nicole Donovan of Troy, Lindsey Anne Donovan of Louisa and Valerie Taylor "Bunky" Donovan of Keswick; five granddaughters, Daja, Asia, Maya, Skyler, Chloe; and his dog, Fat Boy. Visitation will be at the Sheridan Funeral Home in Kents Store, Virginia, from 6 until 8 p.m. on Wednesday, March 13, 2013. A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, March 14, 2013, at Beulah Baptist Church. Interment will follow at the church cemetery. Early was a guitarman who loved to make music.
