Chancey C. Easton, 81, a resident of the Sogge home in Windom for the past nine months, died at the home on Oct. 19. Mrs. James Dokken of Windom is his daughter. Mr. Easton was a retired lumber businessman, formerly of Cokato. Funeral services were held at the Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd in Windom, the Rev. Paul, Berg officiating. Interment was in the Greenwood Cemetery at Warren, Minn.
Mr. Easton was born June 9, 1890 at Warren and grew up in that community. A World War I veteran, he was married to Alice Everts at Ashby in 1920. (Chauncey C Easton married Alice M Everts on 7/14/1920 in Grant County.) Surviving besides his daughter are his widow; a son, Jack, of Fargo; six grandchildren.
